SIA Refresher Training for Door Supervisors – Starting October 2024
Starting October 1, 2024, the Security Industry Authority (SIA) will require all door supervisors to complete SIA Refresher Training. These new refresher qualifications are essential for maintaining the safety-critical skills needed to effectively protect the public. The SIA strongly recommends that all door supervisor licence holders complete this refresher training as soon as it becomes available to ensure compliance and readiness.

SIA Security Guard Top Up
What is Security Guard Top-up Training?
Security Guard Top-up Training is a mandatory 1-day course required to renew your SIA Security Guard Licence. Starting from October 1st, the SIA has updated the renewal process for both Security Guard and Door Supervisor Licences, ensuring that all security personnel meet the latest industry standards. This new SIA Top-up Training brings security guards in line with those who obtained their qualifications after August 2015.
The SIA Security Guard Top-up Training in Stratford, East London, includes half a day of upskilling training followed by multiple-choice exams. Completion of this course is essential for SIA licence renewal, and results may take up to two weeks to be released.
